A Hands-on Community Service Club
The Rotary Club of Grande Prairie After Five is the newest Rotary Club in Grande Prairie, becoming chartered on July 18, 2012, with 33 members. This membership number has stayed consistent over the years, allowing for easy collaboration with other clubs and access to more granting opportunities. Though our numbers are smaller, you wouldn’t know it from our output. Rotary After Five members are very hands-on with our fundraising and community service initiatives, willing to put in the sweat equity for the causes that mean a lot to us. No matter the age of our members — young professionals just starting their careers or retirees looking for projects to keep busy — everyone contributes as much as they can.
After Five meets every Wednesday at Delta Hotels by Marriott Grande Prairie Airport. The room opens at 5 p.m., with the meeting starting at 5:30 p.m.

The Magic of Rotary — Become a Member
Rotary After Five meetings are perfectly timed to suit those with daytime working hours, allowing you to wrap up the work day, make a difference in your community, and still have plenty of time to spare in the evening.
We have an active membership that also loves to get together outside of meeting times, volunteering for events and initiatives, going to local fundraisers and shows, and hosting a book club.
We welcome new members! Contact us in advance of the next meeting so we can arrange to have a FREE meal for your first meeting! To reach us, please email afterfivegp@gmail.com.
Exchange Students
The Rotary Clubs of Grande Prairie are proud to support the Rotary Youth Exchange Program, offering students the unique opportunity to experience new cultures, broaden their horizons, and build lifelong global connections.
Through this program, local students can study abroad, while students from other countries immerse themselves in our community. By fostering cultural understanding and personal growth, the Rotary Youth Exchange helps shape tomorrow’s leaders, promoting peace and goodwill across borders. Join us in creating a more connected and compassionate world through the power of international exchange.
